Dear Colleagues,

The Scientific Committee of the 54th Paediatric Association of Nigeria Conference is calling for on-line submission of abstracts from members for presentation at the scientific sessions in the forth-coming conference. Abstracts should be written in English Language, be original and should not have been published, presented or submitted elsewhere for presentation. The abstracts should be typed using Times New Romans font, double spaced with font size of 12 and word limit of 250. They should be structured using the format below:

·                     Title with name of author(s)

·                     Name of presenting author should be underlined

·                     Author’s affiliation and e-mail of corresponding author should be provided

·                     Background/Aims

·                     Methods

·                     Results

·                     Conclusions

Authors should indicate whether an abstract is meant for POSTER or ORAL presentation. However, the final decision on the status for presentation of a selected abstract is at the discretion of the Scientific Committee. The maximum allowable time for an ORAL presentation is 10 minutes. The closing date for submission of abstract is 30th November 2022. Authors will get an immediate acknowledgement upon receipt of their abstracts while the decisions on submitted abstracts will be communicated to authors within two weeks of receipt. Abstracts received after the closing date will not be considered. The accepted abstracts will be published in the book of abstracts. Authors whose abstracts have been accepted are required to attend the conference and present their work when called upon.
